BA (Hons) in Islamic Studies

BISc – Bachelor of Islamic Studies (Hons) is the flagship degree level program of Al-Mustafa International University (in Islamic Republic of Iran) recognized by Sri Lanka UGC and other international organizations. It is a three year full-time residential intensive program covering Arabic Language, Islamic Studies, Psychology and Communication Skills at an advanced level. It is designed for those who wish to combine their professional career paths with Islamic Studies and other fields.

First Academic Year Begins: January 2017

Duration: 3 Years

Application Deadline: 15th December 2016

Maximum Number of Students: 50 (25 male and 25 female)

Primary Selection Criteria: Academic Merit and Intellectual Aptitude

Secondary Selection Criteria: Application Date (priority for earlier applications)

 

COURSES OF BACHELOR OF ART (GENERAL) DEGREE
Mustafa College of Humanities Studies, the Sri Lankan branch of Al – Mustafa international university offers
three compulsory subjects (International Languages, Education and Islam) which should be followed as major
subjects for the Bachelor of Arts (General/Special) degree. The course is based on the course unit system
because each major subject is divided into units.
